Compress to reduce file size while aiming to preserve visible quality. Around 82% is a practical starting point for photos. For logos, screenshots, and text-heavy graphics, PNG is usually the safer option.
Convert to choose the output format that suits the job. WebP is a modern choice for web images, JPG is widely supported for photographs, and PNG preserves transparency.

Are my images uploaded or stored?
No. The tool processes your selected image in your browser using your device’s own resources. Goal-Online does not receive, store, or retain the image you choose.
Which image formats are supported?
You can select JPG, PNG, WebP, and GIF files. You can save the result as JPG, PNG, or WebP. Animated GIFs are processed as a still image because browser canvas tools work with a single frame.
Is there a file-size limit?
Yes. To keep the tool responsive on phones and computers, it accepts one image up to 25 MB and output dimensions up to 10,000 pixels on either side.
How does compression work?
The tool redraws your image at the dimensions and quality you choose, then creates a new file in your chosen format. JPG and WebP quality settings usually reduce size; PNG prioritizes lossless quality and may be larger.
Why does one dimension change when I edit the other?
By default the tool keeps your image’s original aspect ratio so it does not look stretched. Enter both width and height if you deliberately need an exact size.
Will this work on my phone?
Yes. The interface adapts for small screens and uses the browser’s native file picker. Very large images may require more memory, so a modern browser and a reasonably sized file give the best results.
